BRISTOL SERIES

The idea for this series was to celebrate the vibrant city of Bristol, UK. I was drawn to the city for it's music scene and to study art, but stayed for much longer seeing many changes over years. I was proud to call it home for over a decade.

 

Bristol is a diverse city full of creativity. I love it  playful nature and rebellious streak.

 

These montages feature places and people that are of personal interest and inspiration: 

These are buildings for their aesthetic qualities and of cultural interest, such as one of my favourite music venues Trinity Centre.  People are often strangers but also friends, many are captured from St Paul's Carnival, my favourite annual event.

Different images are juxtaposed to create playful montages with a surreal or dreamlike qualities.
